@johncutlefish For public record, you might start with reading through the announcements / postings around design firm acquisitions running back to 2010 or so. Then ring up some insiders for their ‘interpretations’. There’s a basket of sub/meta/adjacent disciplines running back 20+ years.

@johncutlefish For design fields like Service / Interaction / Experience / Content / Behavior / [list goes on…], you’ve got half the principals right here on Twitter already. Aside from maybe a B-school or org culture case study (or maybe history of design) where would you take the exercise?
