@semanticwill best way to put out a fire is cut off the oxygen – capture the $$, and they’ll die / change
-
@semanticwill 100% agree w/ you. question = how to capture that $$? we need to learn from the agencies, and take their clients away!
-
@semanticwill @kaleemux the challenge to us is to convince clients to buy UX instead of advertising and faUX design from agencies
-
@semanticwill all great examples. but agencies aren’t hired for UX, they’re hired to make advertising.
-
@kaleemux sadly, most will never check. and they wouldn’t know what to make of what they found if they did. that’s why they hired someone.
-
@semanticwill but agency clients don’t know (or care- their priority is the appearance of effectivess) so the agencies don’t. follow the $$.
-
@kaleemux brand benefit to them is debatable, as agencies only care about locking in big clients / steady billing. it’s their basic model.
-
@semanticwill no use tilting at windmills. digital agencies = fat with $$ redirected from dead media.
-
@semanticwill oh, they get UX – that’s why they’re *selling* it. it’s up to buyers to be smart about their $$ decisions – sadly few are.

@livlab go climb the mountain!
